Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022-23

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is to encourage talented children from economically deprived communities in West Bengal. The government of West Bengal has established scholarship programs for educational institutions in the state.

Students in grades XI, XII, graduate, postgraduate, M.Phil., and doctorate programs will largely benefit from this project. All of the programs are implemented based on the pupils’ past test results.

After applying for scholarships, there is no need to provide a paper copy of the form. This selection will exclude students from participating in any other state or federal government programs. Students have benefited from the scholarship by obtaining financial assistance. The prize is primarily intended to help financially underprivileged students.

The main purpose of the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students in the state. Students in West Bengal who are unable to pay their tuition fees can now continue their studies since their education will be funded by the government.

This initiative will raise the literacy rate in the state while also providing jobs. Through this programme, students will be able to overcome the financial burden that their education has placed on them. All students from economically challenged families in the state will be eligible for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship programme.

The West Bengal government has launched a portal for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022. In addition, they have also lowered the eligibility criteria for this scholarship scheme. As per the updated eligibility criteria, students who have scored 60% or more in Class 10 (Madhyamik) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) can apply for the SVMCM Scholarship 2022. On September 2, 2021, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that there will be an ease in the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship eligibility criteria so that more students can be benefited.

Eligibility Criteria

The West Bengal government has developed the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship scheme for students, as you are all aware. This programme provides financial assistance to qualified students from low-income families in the state.

All students who scored 60 per cent or above on their state board exam are eligible for this programme. Previously, 75 per cent of qualifying criteria applied to the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship programme. West Bengal’s chief minister, Mamata Banerjee, has changed the eligibility requirements.

Students with a grade point average of 60 per cent or above are now eligible to apply for this programme. On this occasion, the Chief Minister virtually felicitated at least 1700 students from secondary, upper secondary, and Madarsa exams. The pupils were handed laptop computers.

In addition, students are provided with literature from well-known Bengali authors. The annual income limit for a household under this plan is Rs 2,50,000.

Other Criteria

The applicant must be a West Bengal resident.
He or she must be pursuing studies in a West Bengal educational institute at the Post-Madhyamik level and above after graduating from a state board, the council of secondary/further secondary, Madrasah education, or a state university.
In addition, institutions must be situated in West Bengal.
Your family’s total annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship application form is released online and candidates can apply online via the official website.

For renewing login, the login id and password will be the same as when the applicant originally applied.

Within one month, upload all essential papers for Swami Vivekananda Renewal Form.

The required document that is to be submitted should be dually submitted and in case of semester exams; year-wise mark sheets. The following documents are required:

Selection Process

To begin, online applications must be submitted correctly with the required document.
They are put in descending order at first, based on the imprints obtained and the understudy’s pay measures.
The validity report will be prepared promptly.
The validity check will be based on the applicant’s ability to access all of their archives.
Finally, the award will be disbursed on their records.
