The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under the Government of India that is responsible for recruiting staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and Subordinate Offices. The commission conducts various examinations such as the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE), Junior Engineer (JE) Examination, and the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination to fill various positions in the government sector. The SSC also conducts exams to select non-gazetted officers for the Indian Police and Central Armed Police Forces.
