1. SENIOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE

Genomics selection for superior heartwood formation in two commercial timber species teak (Tectona grandis) and European oak (Quercus robur)

PI: Dr. R. Yasodha Scientist- G & GCR

Qualifications:

Essential:

•  Master’s Degree in Natural or Agriculture Sciences
• Four-year experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Industries or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services

(Or)

• Doctoral degree in Science/Engineering/ Technology from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable:

• Experience in Phenotyping and genomic analysis. The selected candidate is expected to travel to the field for data collection in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra and to Copenhagen, Denmark as a part of a knowledge –exchange.
