BSCB Recruitment 2022 for Assistants & Assistant Managers
The Bihar State Cooperative Bank (BSCB) has published the BSCB Recruitment 2022 notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistants & Assistant Managers on regular basis. Appointment of candidates recruited through this recruitment process will be in Bihar State Cooperative Bank (BSCB) and various District Central Cooperative Banks.
The Bihar State Co-operative Bank Ltd. was established in Patna way back in 1914 and was registered under the Co-operative Society Act 11 of 1912 with the following objectives

To serve as the apex bank in the state of Bihar for societies.
- To guide and promote co-operative activities in the State.
- To organize the provision of credit for Cooperative societies.
- To serve as a balancing center in the Co-operative Credit Structure of the State.
- To function as a financing bank in terms of the Act and the Rules and to carry on general business.
The Bank is presently doing its business through its 14 branches and 30 DCCBs affiliated with it. After the bifurcation of Jharkhand from unified Bihar in the year 2000, its five branches are now located in Jharkhand state and 9 in Bihar State. Similarly, out of the existing 30 DCCBs affiliated to it, 8 DCCBs are located in Jharkhand State and 22 DCCBs in Bihar State. Since the Jharkhand State Co-operative Bank has not yet been established and Assets and liabilities have not yet been bifurcated, the present area of operation of The Bank is Jharkhand and Bihar States.
The Bank was earlier doing the lending business in the Agriculture sector only. But after the issuance of guidelines from NABARD regarding non-agriculture finance, the Bank started business in the non-agriculture sector in the year 1990. Thus the Bank is presently doing the lending business in Agriculture as well as Nonagriculture sectors.

Selection Process for Assistant & Assistant Managers in BSCB
- Selection of candidates for Assistant Manager Posts in BSCB will be through Written Exam and Interview.
- Assistants in BSCB will be selected through two-stage written exams.
Application Fees for BSCB Assistant & Assistant Managers Recruitment 2022
- Rs. 650/- (Six hundred Fifty only)-For SC/ST/PWD candidates
- Rs.850/- (Eight hundred Fifty only)-For others
RESERVATION:
- Reservation will be given in terms of reservation rules/ regulations as per Govt. of Bihar.
- The benefit of reservation is given only to the permanent domiciles of Bihar. The Candidate
who claims for BC/ MBC reservation benefit will have to submit the Caste Certificate issued
by the Competent Authority of his /her home district in the prescribed Performa of Govt. of
Bihar issued before not more than a year. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST are required
to submit only caste certificates issued by the competent authority of his/her home district. - The Candidate who claims for reservation against relatives of Freedom Fighter as per Govt.
of Bihar Resolution will have to submit the Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
in the prescribed Performa of Govt. of Bihar. - The Candidate who claims for reservation under the PWD category will have to follow all terms
and the condition gets forth by the Govt. of Bihar (Appendix enclosed).
Note: If a Candidate does not produce a valid Caste & Freedom Fighter certificate, Divyang
persons. (As applicable), in original at the time of document’s verification, his/ her claim for
such reservation benefit will be forfeited and his/ her Candidature will be considered under
UR category/ general candidate.
